My short days that are long.

Yesterday I went to work and it was hell. It’s what I expect though. After work I went with John Porcellino to Time Warp comics to sell them some copies of Blammo. The man who owns the store was like “Van Sciver? Do you know Ethan Van Sciver?”  I said “Yeah. He’s my older brother.” He became very excited about that and started flipping through my comics while I became uncomfortable. I know that anybody who is a big fan of Ethan wouldn’t necessarily be into my style of tortured scrawling. And that’s actually a good thing. I want to think that we will cover two different parts of the comic industry. “A Van Sciver for every taste.” Now all we need is a Van Sciver that draws Manga comics.

After that little adventure we had to go into radio 1190 to do a little talk about our show together (Which I have to actually do today, in a few hours!) It turned out really well, and I’ll post a link to it in a few days.

Here is some pottery that I made a week ago in Robin’s dad’s  pottery studio!

The pottery is terrific (especially the christmas ornaments!) and I love the fact that there’s a ghost hanging out with your carolers.
