I have to do a presentation about myself and my comics on October 6th. If you live in Denver, please come! I want to be talking to actual people during this thing and not to a bunch of empty chairs.
If you’d like to see an excerpt from The Hypo (of course you do!) Top Shelf has posted one on their site over here!!!
I did a one page comic for the new issue of Brooklyn’s Smoke Signal #6!
I will also start doing comics for Tiny Mixtapes over here
And I have a few drawings in the October issue of The Believer magazine.
Ever since I got back to Denver I’ve been working on stuff and keeping busy. I am sort of drawing stuff that could possibly go into a new issue of Blammo. I haven’t figured out how I would actually publish another issue, yet for sure. If I do do another one, I’d really want to beat all of the other issues.
I shouldn’t even think about it. I should get back to work on The Hypo. It’s insane working on this thing! It’s a big project. I can’t believe I did this to myself. Why didn’t I just do some memoir book like a lot of others? I’m stuck now. I have to finish it! I’ve come to far!
I wonder when people will let me do covers to stuff?
Okay So here’s an old interview that I did with Liz Price for The Comics Journal.
It’s funny how differently I would’ve drawn her now. Oh well.
