Your best friend, and artist.
Honestly? I love the title design, but the image of Lincoln standing in blackness seems a little plain. Without the beard and top hat,or anything to suggest it in the title, it might be difficult for some folks to know it’s about Lincoln if this is sitting on a shelf. Have you considered using this image spliced with the penny, five dollar bill, or Lincoln monument design (maybe with him in the huge chair but looking very uncomfortable)? Just a thought…hope it doesn’t offend.
Robbie, My lincoln didn’t have a beard. I am going to add a top hat, and this is not going to be the actual cover. This is just me messing around. No, i will absolutely not splice in any image of Lincoln from currency. This book ends in 1842. Well before he obtains any kind of real greatness and there’s nothing in my book that hints that anything great will happen to him in the future. That’s not what this is.
Dude, that’s a great cover.
